There are many places in the local community where you can drop off old phones, carrier shops such as Telstra and Optus offer phone recycling bins, so your old phone can be repurposed, and save mining up more rare earth minerals. Telstra offers an e waste drop off point in their stores that accept Phones, modems, and more!

Recycling through Telstra or Optus allows for 95% of materials dropped off, to be recovered and recycled.Â
